Is Vinnie working on his new project?

Hi All;

I heard that from a student of Aydın Esen. Aydın Esen played on some tracks of solo projects of Vinnie.

Anybody heard about it? Is Vinnie working about his new solo album?

I wouldn't be surprised because in interviews Vinnie has been talking about doing something of his own again.

It would be very interesting to see what he comes out with. I bet it would differ a lot from his first album which seemed quite dark and strange to me! Emotionally that is, the music is good i enjoy it!

It's my guess that Vinnie will be way too busy playing other people's music for the next 10 years to even think about making his own. That is the somewhat sad reality of a popular working drummer... never time to do your own thing... not that I would know!!! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

But anyways, Vinnie is perhaps too busy, but if i was lucky enough to ever make a living it would be very hard to say no to jobs...i feel its such a privilige just to get paid to play music!

I wonder how far out Vinnie is booked for? Maybe 6 months to a year? with of course a lot of free days though
